Building begins on 10 new affordable family homes in Hammersmith and Fulham
Karibu Community Homes has started work on 10 new family homes at Sotheron Place in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
Construction started in September 2026, and the first stages of building work are now well underway.
The development will provide five London Affordable Rent homes and five London Living Rent homes, creating 10 good-quality family homes in Hammersmith and Fulham.
The new homes are part of Karibu’s wider plans to provide more affordable homes for people and families across London.
Jeffrey Boateng, Director of Asset Management & Development at Karibu Community Homes, said:
“Starting work on these homes is an important milestone for Karibu. There is a significant need for good-quality family homes at affordable rents in Hammersmith and Fulham, and this scheme is an important part of our development programme. We look forward to welcoming residents when the homes are complete.”
The new homes are expected to be completed in spring 2028.
