Connecting with Our Southall Community at Carers Week
On 10th June, Karibu proudly took part in the Carers Week event at The Dominion Centre in Southall.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for our staff to engage directly with residents, listen to their experiences, and show our continued support for carers in our communities.
Throughout the day, we connected with local organisations and service providers who are doing vital work across the borough. These conversations gave us valuable insights into the challenges carers face and how we, as a housing provider, can strengthen our support and partnership with those offering care in different forms.
Our presence at Carers Week is part of our wider commitment to being present in the communities we serve—building relationships, sharing information, and learning from those with lived experience.
We look forward to attending more community events in the future and continuing to listen, learn, and work together for a stronger, more connected Karibu community.
