Get Involved: Tenant Engagement at Karibu

At Karibu, we’re committed to making sure residents have a strong voice and real opportunities to shape our services.

There are lots of ways to get involved, and we’re always keen to welcome new residents.

Our Engagement Opportunities

Tenant Committee
Meets every two months to discuss key service issues and review how we’re performing, helping to hold services to account.

Scrutiny Committee
Carries out detailed reviews of specific services and makes recommendations for improvement, reporting to the Tenant Committee, Customer Committee and Board.

Community Champions
Act as the eyes and ears of our communities, sharing feedback about day-to-day experiences in estates and blocks. This includes issues like anti-social behaviour (ASB), service improvements, and communal cleaning and gardening.

Complaints Panel
Meets every two months to review how we handle complaints and identify ways we can improve our responses to residents.

Communication Panel
Currently being developed following our recent communications review — keep an eye out for ways to get involved.

Procurement Panel
Supports Karibu during procurement processes, helping to make sure residents’ views are reflected in the services we commission.

Virtual Panel
Offers flexible ways to get involved online, such as surveys, policy reviews and discussions — ideal if you prefer to take part remotely.

Get Involved

We’re always looking to increase resident involvement. If you would like to take part or find out more about any of these opportunities, please get in touch using the Connect with Us form — we would love to hear from you.
